On Monday, January 21st, Jackson Samuel Webb (our first child) decided that he was ready to enter this world. Four and a half weeks early, mind you! There are not many things that could drag me away from the NFL playoffs, but my wife’s water breaking is certainly one of them. Grandma Webb, referring to the tardiness gene that runs in the family, declared that Jackson was starting a new Webb tradition by being early. He is very healthy and both he and mom are doing great.
Will he be a starting pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals? A winemaker extraordinaire? Maybe
. Whatever he decides to do, I’ll be proud of him!

Congratulation Daddy! And isn’t it just like a ‘man’, no weight, no inches given. My first son was almost four weeks early! He’s 26 now, and be forewarned, he still lives with us!
Oh, I love the name, beautiful!
Sincerely,
Dennis
Thanks! He was 7 pounds 2 ounces, very big for his age. I lived with my parents for a little while when I was 25, so guess I can’t complain too much if he sticks around for a while
.
Awesome news Nick! Congratulations to you and your wife! I think a toast is in order tonight!
Thanks Shawn!
